I am looking for a writer, ideally with a technical background that's comfortable writing a weekly post on the latest trends and developments happening in the software engineering community. Think very practical posts that would include code snippets, configuration settings, and examples a software developer could use to better themselves. Topics could range anywhere from web & app development to subjects in devops, all the way to more advanced ideas in NLP, machine learning, computer vision, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.
We will have suggestions to tackle that fit our business needs but are open to working with you on a monthly calendar as frequency in having new content is a priority. Well researched up to date topics are key for us. Given our audience are software developers there is a level of detail that we would like to see out of any peice we decide to publish.
A little about us, perhaps of interest. We are an early stage pre-seed round internet statup in silicon valley. We are building what we call "intelligent profiles for software engineers". Simply put, we want to analyze both public and private repositories to develop a profile for software engineers based on their source code and commits. This "intelligent profile" will be used as a way for software engineers to better learn about themselves, participate in a knowledge marketplace, and act as their online representation to the world.
