We produce training software for orthography and math for schools. To instruct administrators and teachers on how to use the software, we produce "manual cards". Each card is about one subject, e.g. how to create new student users, and takes the admins/teachers step by step through the process (of e.g. setting a student user up).
We have two products, Dybuster Orthograph for orthography training, and Dybuster Calcularis for math training. There is a set of manual cards for each of them. However, the section for the administrators about managing the institution is the same in both sets.
Therefore, the overall number of words to translate is as follows:
Introduction, institution management: 1,900 words
Orthograph: 4,200 words
Total: 10,100 word
The manual cards contain screen shots, which are already translated. For the wording, you have to follow the wording of the screen shots.
The manual cards are provided as two InDesign files (one for each product) and have to be returned as two InDesign files, too. We guess that the most straight forward process, i.e. replacing the text within the InDesign files, is the most efficient way to do this.
We expect a price of US$ 0.10 per German word. Therefore, the budget is a total of US$ 1,000.
I am looking for a mix of experience and value
