We are currently looking for qualified translators to provide English language translations of advertising content from around the world. Ads will be translated from originating language to English.
We are looking for translation contractors in any/all of the following languages:
Contractors will be provided with a unique login username and password which will allow them to access the Translation queue. Once logged in, the contractor will see a list of ad queue(s) to which they have been assigned and may start translating.
Contractors queues will be broken into two main projects: a 'Backlog' queue and a 'Current' queue. 'Current' will be added-to daily and is the first priority once logged in. After completing all of the 'Current' ads, work should be done on reducing the 'Backlog' queue.
Ads contain a base set of metadata fields to be translated for each ad, in addition to the translation of the ad itself. Ads will be viewed as one of three main media types: Text-Only, Print-Image, and TV. Text-only ads require only an English translation of the text displayed, Print-image require the main content (i.e. you can omit the terms and conditions) of the ad to be typed and subsequently translated into English, and TV require the ad to be viewed and typed into English.
Chosen candidates will have a thorough understanding of the originating language as well as English. Ads are generally short in text, so keeping the main context of the ad with all relevant language idioms is important. Candidates must be self-motivated and willing to adhere to agreed upon timelines.
