I am looking for someone who can complete a partially completed project and provide a working prototype in 30 days.  Please feel free to integrate existing PCBs such as a learning IR remote if it is more economical and expedient.  The power supply should be remote unless a UL approved integrated power supply is used.

LCD Projector Switch

The purpose of this project is to design a source switch that will allow the user to select one of four audio/video sources to be output to an LCD projector and speakers.

1. The switch will be mounted remotely from the input locations
2. Data and control will be transmitted via Cat5e cable with RJ45 terminations on each end
3. Inputs will be sized to fit in a standard single gang electrical box
a. VGA
b. Stereo
4. The control module will be sized to fit in a standard two gang electrical box
5. The control module will consist of
a. On/off button
b. Four selectable source buttons with only one allowed to be in the active position at a time.  Buttons should light when active
c. Bluetooth headset microphone connect button
d. Two volume controls
i. Stereo volume
ii. Microphone volume
6. Both stereo and microphone audio will be amplified
a. The microphone audio will be present if there is no stereo audio or will mix with the stereo audio if it is present
7. Microphone input will be via Bluetooth headset.  The system needs the capability to connect to user headsets
8. The system needs the ability to learn on/off IR codes from projector remotes and utilize an IR emitter to transmit the codes to the projector
9. Ideally the system would also be capable of utilizing serial commands to control on/off functions as well
10.   Ideally it would be possible to offer inputs that can accept component video and/or HDMI

1. Installation configuration
a. The installer will use the projector remote control to train teach the switch the IR commands used to turn the projector off and on.
b. The installer links a Bluetooth microphone headset with the system
2. User wants to make a presentation:
a. User pushes the on button on the control
i. ‘On’ IR command sent to the projector
ii. Audio system turned on
b. User selects one of four input buttons
i. Selected input button lights.  All other buttons dark
c. User sets volume controls
i. Stereo volume for primary audio
ii. Microphone volume for the microphone
d. User makes presentation
e. User may switch inputs
i. User selects a different input button
ii. New button lights and previous button goes dark
iii. Video input switches
iv. Audio input switches
f. User shuts down the system
i. User selects the off button
ii. Off button lights and on button goes dark
iii. ‘Off’ IR command sent to the projector
iv. Audio system turned off
