I co-host an interview-style podcast which captures separate video files for each guest and screenshare (if applicable).
I am looking for someone that can watch the raw footage and pick out short, self-contained sections that can be turned into standalone videos on YouTube.
A couple examples of this can be seen here:
- The Joe Rogan podcast (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzQUP1qoWDoEbmsQxvdjxgQ)
- The H3H3 Podcast (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZZHPXsg6LopvdOKF7qM6cQ)
I would like each video to be 5-15 minutes long. There will not be any set amount of videos per podcast episode so for now I'd most likely just pay hourly for the editing work to see how things go and perhaps transition into a flat fee per video for future work.
You can listen to the podcast here to get an idea of the content: https://redcircle.com/shows/the-tightly-wound-podcast
If interested, please start your proposal letter with "I'm your video person." Also let me know what hourly rate you'd be comfortable with. If you have any clips of past editing work I can look at, I'd appreciate a link or two.
