I am a psychiatrist in a practice where I am the only M.D.  The Virtual Front Desk will be given a login for a phone number and the primary responsibility is to answer phone calls and texts: mostly for scheduling although there are a few other miscellaneous tasks.  The work is 31 hours a week: from 11am-5pm Chicago / Central Time Monday-Friday and 1 hour on Sunday some time between noon and 6pm.  My billing company's website also manages the scheduling software.  It blocks foreign IP addresses so applicants MUST demonstrate the knowledge of how to get around that.  Expenses will be reimbursed.  For new patients, demographic and insurance information will need to be entered.  Furthermore, calls to insurance companies to verify insurance will be necessary.  Other potential responsibilities include accessing the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) program to convert chart notes into PDF, electronically faxing them, and credit card payments.  I am looking to hire within a week.

A good internet connection
Know how to get around the blocking of foreign IP addresses if you are not based in the U.S.A.  PLEASE INDICATE YOU KNOW HOW TO DO THIS.
Polite, pleasant, and teachable
Spoken English that is easily understood
Windows / PC user.  Fair computer literacy for the website
