I am seeking a part-time Virtual Assistant to support me in all aspects of my business. I am operating a full time transcription business in addition to starting a complete virtual staffing company. My goal is to develop a long-term professional relationship with an individual who can proactively assist me in various areas of business. All work can be done remotely.

The principal responsibility is to ensure that I am efficient, organized, and effective by providing proactive, background support in all aspects of my life.
Willing to train the right individual! I’m looking for someone I can trust implicitly, whose career will grow with mine, and who will be fun to work with. Someone interested in contributing ideas and assisting in the implementation of ideas as my businesses grow. A creative problem solver and able to just make things happen and get things done.  
The types of duties will include, but are not limited to:
Answering calls and handling queries
Brainstorming ideas.
Booking meetings - interviews
Calendar Management
Commissioning work on the principal's behalf
Communication Management
Email Management
Liaoning with staff, clients
Managing support for virtual transcribers
Project coordination
Provide digital files and assistance to transcribers
Recruiting Support
Transcription Overflow/ Quality Assurance Proofing
Time Requirements
We’ll begin at 20 hours per week, and will increase as needed. Hours must be recorded via oDesk. Bonuses and other benefits will also be offered.  Compensation is processed on the 1st and 15 of each month. I am located in California, Pacific Standard Time and applicant should be available during some of those hours, but I will be flexible. Should you reside in an alternate time zone you must be available at least 3 hours during our normal business hours. Weekends are required.
Must have the following:
Excellent English spelling, grammar, and sentence structure knowledge!

Ability to start right away.

Successful applicant will be utilized in an Independent Contractor capacity and therefore bears full responsibility for any and all personal federal, state and local income taxes and requires submission of a W9 form.
