We are a successful ecommerce company, selling high-end furniture, in business since 2005, with an A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau, with over 120 pages of testimonials, and a 4.9 rating left by customers on Google.
We once hired a free-lancer to do some coding and he did not deliver a satisfactory product. We disputed the payment, and per the freelancing site's guidelines, proceeded to arbitration which was decided in our favor. He went and posted negative comments on Ripp-Off Report. I did post a rebuttal, and included the arbitration decision. It seems they charge quite a bit of money to take it down, which as a matter of principle I think is unacceptable.
I am looking for someone to correspond with Google, and research how to have this not appear on the first (or second) page of organic search results..
If all goes well, other projects (though not of this nature) can follow.
