The Sydney Consulting Club (SCC) is a rapidly growing body of young professionals who are pursing a career in the sought after career of consulting. We provide in depth case workshops to develop the consulting skills needed to excel in this field as well as participate in a number of national and regional case competitions. Our alumni have gone to many consulting firms including Bain & Co., LEK, BCG, McKinsey and others. As President of this growing society, I am spearheading a number of changes to provide more value for members, one of which is creation of a information product centered around consulting as a career.
The Freelancer will have demonstrated excellence in web-research and will be able to collate information from a number of sources, mainly websites, with then support from myself to get more harder to obtain information from professionals themselves. This information will include mostly career related information regarding a particular number of firms as well as other consulting related websites including managementconsulted.com and others. Collation of this information will give SCC members a readily accessible source of information to refer to in pursuing their careers, boosted by a number of other initiatives that the SCC is currently doing.
A successful engagement will be thorough, extensive and relatively fast collated research which I can use to put the product together. We will be working together on this and it will be seen by hundreds of people on paper and potentially thousands on an online version. It would be a great piece of work to place onto your portfolio involved in a rapidly growing society around one of the most sought after careers. As well as this, a successful engagement will be communication heavy, with relatively frequent updates on the status of the work. I have personally used other VAs and have not had great experiences and I hope that the talent I find on O-Desk is much better.
In your application, please tell me what kind of research you have done the past and at what depth/level, how efficient you are with the research and any other similar projects you have worked on in the past.
