We are looking to launch a new company and need to evaluate our competitors websites in order to have a better understanding of the keywords and search engine optimisation techniques they use, in order to improve our site design.
Need to evaluate all keywords used by competitiors and identify the costs associated with using search engines (google, yahoo, bing) social media (twitter, facebook, youtube). Each cost should be evaluated for effectiveness based on Cost per click, click through rate, conversion rate, number of searches, most effective scheduled time, peak time traffic etc.. Need to also evaluate the effectiveness of the users, ie are they engaging with the sites or just bouncing through. So a profile of the website and its users. identify PPC and remarketing strategies used.
Based on the information above, we can define a strategy for our online presence identifying keywords, PPC and remarketing strategy that will offer a higher rate of return on investment.
The purpose of the traffic is to have a good conversion rate from click through rate to purchase as we would like a performance based strategy (quick and immediate sale) and once the user has visited our site we need to engage through our website. Would also like to evaluate the cost of remarketing as a tool of continuous engagement, based on what are the risks associated.
