I am in dire need of a good marketing copywriter for Day-Trading Software. I am dividing this up into a couple of parts, but I really need to get started on the homepage of my website. I will pay by the hour 3 or 4 people to work on my homepage and a couple emails. From that work, I will decide whom I would like to continue working with.
We need some concisely written content (even just a few sentences) for our website's homepage. We just want to explain what we offer and promote enough interest so the person leaves their email so we can send them a number of different email marketing campaigns. Just normal, basic stuff.
We teach people how to day-trade futures/stocks/FOREX markets using our proprietary methods & software. In order for anyone to make money from the markets, they must have an "Edge." An edge is simply a favorable probabilistic outcome. A casino might say they have a 52/28 edge over the player playing BlackJack. If a trader doesn't have an edge and know exactly what that edge is, and how to apply/trade it - he/she is doomed to failure. Most successful traders have blown at least 2 accounts. Most people just blow out that first account or two and give up - and rightly so. This is an incredibly dangerous endeavor if it's not understood and respected properly initially. So we teach people how they can gain that trading edge and actually have a chance of becoming profitable. First, of course, they must stop bleeding money, and learn some methods that can actually yield better than random results. This is an industry full of "used-car-sales" type marketing - and there are many charlatans and frauds - people preying on wealthy elderly people. I do not want to be over-the-top salesy and come across like more of a marketer than anything else. But I also want to do this correctly and actually be somehow persuasive. Obviously, the site leaves a lot to be desired.
The following is just sort of brain dump:
"To become a successful day-trader, you must have a clearly defined edge that you KNOW works. To define that edge, you must know/understand how and why markets move the way they do. You can try to sift through all of the misinformation and disinformation on trading and hope you find something that works (95%+ won't), or you can join us and get your Masters in Trading." (I don't necessarily like this at all, but these are some ideas.) Volume analysis and market geometry are the two most important types of technical analysis that can actually put odds in your favor. Everything else that we and many others have tested yield nothing better than purely random results. Mastering Volume, Market Geometry, and Price Momentum Divergence are the keys to understanding market movements. And understanding the ways the markets move is the beginning of excellent trading. It still takes a long time to learn, but you absolutely must learn how and why the markets move like they do.
The link below is a first-draft mock-up of our home page another person here on upwork has created. The written content is terrible, but the layout is definitely an improvement compared to what we have now. I can't say I am in love with the layout, though. Any ideas are welcome. https://gyazo.com/938a8d7b167bc59f65c9be078653d929
The second part of this job is to rewrite or improve the following email content in order to persuade people to download and use our free software. This software that we are advertising for through our email campaign is intended to be used by the client on a daily basis. It contains an area within it that the client will see where we can upload different pictures and ads for further advertising our paid for products. We need to convince the client to download and use this free software. The link below contains a number of different possible email templates. (I'll send more info about this later) https://1drv.ms/w/s!AoXA2-Km01Hp6S7n5KReC-cp08M8
There are a number of different possible titles for each of the emails. Please rewrite. As long as the basic ideas are covered, the wording should be changed to sell, obviously!
