Elegant Themes is one of the largest WordPress Theme/Plugin companies, and our flagship theme Divi is now one of the most popular WordPress themes. We are looking for a WordPress Expert that can provide Technical Support for our awesome customers. All of our Support is handled in our Support Forum which has been customized as a Support System.
This job requires css/html/php/ experience, as well as a good familiarity with coding for WordPress. jQuery experience is also a plus, but not required.
A support team member's responsibilities include:
-Provide support to our members by answering any questions they have while working with the themes--including offering advise on making basic CSS customizations. Support is semi-ticket based. Members create "tickets" to which our staff responds.
-File detailed bug reports when and where appropriate. Follow up on the progress of the issue and keep the members informed. Provide the fix to the member once it is available so they don't have to wait for the next theme update.
-Give your full attention and focus while working a shift. The amount of time you spend on each ticket will vary based on the issue/question being asked. You must be efficient but you must not move so quickly that you do not completely address the customer's concern. Each response that you post should be aimed at providing a solution that does not require additional responses (when its possible). Basically, you want to do your best to minimize the amount of back-and-forth in an effort to save time not only for yourself, but for the customer as well.
Good English is a must along with a real passion for good customer service!
