SAFEgroup require an android mobile app for an automated notification system for field staff who are working alone or in isolation areas

The app would basically send an SMS to our office control room so that their activities can be logged and tracked.
The office can initiate emergency responses if the field staff fail to check in within a set time.

All SAFEgroup employees working/travelling remote must be able to use this app to log their remote activities and 'check-in' at required time intervals.
The application will send sms messages to an internal database already configured in our office. The application will not need to interpret received sms messages back to the user.
GPS functionality is not required.

See attachments for details of the program for more information.

We will be deploying the app to Samsung Galaxy SII and SIII devices with the main Android versions being: 2.3.6, 4.0.3 and 4.0.4. However, we may also need future development for iOS as well.

All source code must be provided and must be written in English.

Support for the app is expected during 'go-live' incase there are still bugs or modifications required.
