I'm looking to add a writer to my team.

This will be a ghostwriting job.

We create children's books - targeting kids ages 6-to-12.

I need you to be able to write fun stories about kids in middle school (around age 9), dealing with all the usual funny and dramatic issues kids this age deal with.

girl talk
text message talk
Spending hours on the phone
Tiffs with friends (friends today, enemies tomorrow, friends the day after)
Slumber parties,
social hierarchy
School events (dances, games, etc.)
Self esteem issues (shyness, quitting, public failure, embarrassment, bullying)
Self identity issues (parents expectations, teacher's expectations, aspirations)
Humor (Falls, burps, pimples/zits, crushes, and other goofy gags)
Authority issues (Parents rules, school's rules, hall monitor's rules, etc.)

and so on.

This will be a fun and collaborative project.

There will be test job for 10 comic strips.

If it's a good fit, we'll work toward another 50+ comic strips.

The strip will revolve around one main character, making her way through middle school.

To qualify, please do the following:
1. Tell 3 hilarious stories from your own experience growing up, as a girl in middle school

2. Name your 3 favorite girl books, and why.

3. Name your 3 favorite girl movies, and why.

Also make sure your portfolio is included.
