I am responsible for maintaining a Zend application, and the customer needs a bug fixed as soon as possible. This bug is causing me some difficulty, as I am not an expert with Zend (yet.)
The bug is that there is ONE field that is not being saved inside our web application and it needs to be saved. After it is saved, it needs to be displayed when users go in an look at their records. There are other variables which are being saved correctly in this same area. Users can login, and create content in the site. One of the content types never saves a variable.
I have a local development environment setup on an Ubuntu VM. You can ssh into the development environment. The deliverables for this project will be the files you modified, and, if necessary, any changes you made to the database structure. The more explanation about WHY this problem is occurring, the better (i.e. more $$$.) This environment has never had any customer data, and the snapshot will be reverted after this project is finished. It just contains the code and a database with enough sample data to illustrate the problem.
This shouldn't (hopefully) be a big issue for someone very familiar with Zend. At this point, I don't have the time to continue to learn and become familiar.
If you are applying, please tell me about your Zend experience.
Thank you very much,
