What's your mission?
Your mission, if you choose it, would be to inspire the heart and soul of our brand with your words. You'd be expected to create email copy that inspires, that moves people emotionally, and converts.
Yes, you'll have to sling words, and at times, guide design decisions. If you can do these well, you'll go to bed knowing that one extra click, one extra conversion could *literally* mean someone getting closer to saving for their kids' college funds or their own retirement goal or diversifying their portfolio. If you're looking for mountains of cash, look elsewhere. We are a startup hell-bent on changing the world, and we want you to be part of it. Don't get us wrong, we pay with real money. But you'll be expected to move mountains with every penny. Why? Because every penny that brings in another person means we could potentially have helped another person closer to their ultimate life goals.
What is the initial scope of work?
We need your help with building email funnel with auto-responders.
This funnel could look like - Drip Onboarding Flow (~5 emails?) - Post-purchase Flow (~ 3 emails?) - Abandoned cart flow (~2 emails?) - etc.
Who is our target audience?
Our immediate target audience is real estate agents who operate in Washington State. Our initial campaign is focused on successful agents who already invest substantial budget in marketing.
What enabling resources would you have access to?
Customer avatar, detailed brief about our business and voice and tone guidelines.
What do we expect from you?
1. You are the king or queen of the copy. (I know, I am repeating myself but this is important)
2. You preferably have experience in the residential real estate investment niche.
3. You have an outstanding command of US English.
4. You can deliver quickly.
5. You are looking for a long-term gig, at least 1 year.
6. You want to do work which will be a proud addition to your portfolio.
7. You can get on Skype (other such tools) or phone to talk.
8. Available to start immediately.
9. Finally, you can work within our budget of $30 per email. To begin with, we are assuming we need 10 emails but understand that this number could change based on the email funnel we both agree upon.
If you can do this, you'll become our go-to person for all copy.
In your cover letter, please provide a link to a sample of work that shows your writing style. We love storytelling and humor. Please also tell us in 2-3 sentences about your experience with Copywriting for Marketing and Sales related topics.
