Nerdy Diva

We are a Black Woman owned agency specializing in UX Design, WordPress Web Development, and EdTech Apps. Based in STL & BOS.

Overview

We are a boutique tech agency specializing in UX design, product design, UX writing, SaaS web development, and technical training. We also have experience with DevOps and Developer Experience for APIs from previous corporate experiences. We love partnering with businesses who are looking to bring their passion to life - whether it is redesigning a website, building an app, or researching customers. We are a Black woman owned agency. Our 14+ years of industry experience, cultural background, and knowledge of best practices for diversity and accessibility impact our approach in empowering UX designers and developers with tools to build inclusive products and services. Nerdy Diva partners with businesses across the US and worldwide, and is headquartered in Downtown St. Louis. We help businesses by uncovering customer insights, design secure apps and systems, build credibility, access more opportunities, increase revenue and elevate their brand reputation. We also have experience working with Fortune 100 companies like IBM, Boeing, MATLAB, universities, non-profits and startups to build easy-to-use apps, train teams and solve business problems using agile and lean UX practices. Our product strategy helps teams compress potentially months of work into a few weeks. We can help you through the entire product process, or any part of it where your organization needs help. - LeanUX: Just enough research and design to get early feedback and pivot if necessary. Instead of waiting to launch a minimal product to understand if an idea is any good, you’ll get clear data from a realistic prototype. You can fast-forward into the future to see your finished product and customer reactions, before making any expensive commitments. - Product Design for Apps and Service Design: Research to uncover friction points in the user flows, assessing elements for accessibility, usability, and delight; providing recommendations to make your process seamless and prototypes for testing with real customers, presenting insights to your leadership team, and training. - Support with user testing: recruiting testers, writing the script, leading remote tests, compiling feedback into a report that gives you insights into where you should be focusing your efforts next, presenting insights to your leadership team, and training. - Product Management: Support with product strategy and prioritization; agile best practices; writing users stories; managing teams of developers and designers to bring ideas to life, presenting insights to your leadership team, and training. - Workshops and Training: 45min - 2 hour workshops for your team with a mix of lecture and interactive activities to enhance learning and team bonding. Topics include: Designing Anti-Racism, UX Research (Interviews, Testing, Data Analytics), UX Design (Design Studio, Ideation & Brainstorming), Prioritization (2x2 Matrix, Bullseye, Pugh Chart, Storymapping)
