Our goal is to become an established resource in the gardening space. We want to provide practical, actionable, realistic gardening advice to our readers from our team of experts.
We're looking to hire a writer who can contribute to our blog. The position will start with 4 blog posts per week, with room to grow beyond this if you can deliver consistent quality work. Each blog post will be between 2,000 and 2,500 words per post.
Please note that we have very high editorial standards compared to most other blogs. Every post that we publish goes through our strict editorial process where we check all claims and ideas for accuracy. Our readers trust us and we absolutely must ensure the highest quality content.
Our budget is around $220 per week for 4 x 2,000-2,500 word posts. So please bid based on delivering 4 x 2,000-2,500 word articles.
You'll be assigned topics by myself and given a submission deadline. It's quite likely that in the first couple of weeks there will be a lot of feedback and editing required, but generally once a writer gets into the swing of things, that part should be minimal.
By all means check out our latest blog posts to get a feel for the sort of quality we are looking for. Note that we only require our writers to write the content, no web formatting or design is required although identifying relevant images is and providing urls where they are located is part of the job.
Please provide at least 3 samples of similar content you have written and/or published in your application. Also, take 5 minutes to customize your application since copy/pasted articles rarely stand out ;)
