The Art director will be responsible for producing and executing innovative ideas for the visual elements for all company properties, internal and external marketing and communication materials across all media:
- digital (social media posts, meme, website designs);
- press and sales kits;
- brand documents;
- print etc.
Working closely with the Community Manager and Marketing Manager to generate creative ideas and concepts in order to fulfill company's communication, branding and marketing requirements;
Producing wireframes (sketches, 'storyboards', 'roughs', 'scamps') to communicate ideas;
Searching for information about the target audience and business that the material is aimed at;
Finding photos and other properties as may be needed for the materials to be produced;
Creating real end products after approvals;
Taking intelligent approach to design.
High level of IT skills in relevant art and design packages, such as Photoshop and Illustrator;
Extensive knowledge in UX;
Integrative and creative approach to the media and how the media can be used in marketing and internal communication;
Experience in working for advertising or marketing companies as an Art Director;
Understanding that "design" isn't just about aesthetics;
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and multi-task;
Ability to work in a team;
High levels of motivation and perseverance with a strong sense of belief in your ideas, together with the skills and confidence to express them;
Ability to take rejection and criticism well and to be able to adapt ideas to clients' and colleagues' needs;
Ability to deal with stress and work well under pressure in order to meet tight deadlines;
Enthusiasm about advertising with a real desire to keep up to date with new developments in the media.
