Looking for someone to develop a series of mathmatically based ( using least squares ) subroutines to work inside primarily AutoCAD but also ZWCAD & Bricscad if possible.
Routines Required :
Create a 3D "Least Squares Best Fit Circle" in AutoCAD of a variable amount of 3D points or calculate and return a 3D point list (x,y,z) of 3 points sitting on the best-fit circle. I have attached a sample drawing of the results I get at the moment which are not quite mathematically accurate enough.
Calculate a 2D (plane held in the Z axis) and 3D ( No Plane held ) "Least Squares Best Fit" of 2 sets of 3D Data, best-fitting the 2nd set of 3D data points to the first set and providing the new best-fit coordinates of all the 2nd data set.
I would like to call the subroutine passing in the arguements with
I would prefer the routines to be written in VisualLisp and the source code provided of which I am willing to pay more.
Any other method would be fine for now though as I need to get these routines running quite urgently.
I have many more routines required so if this goes well there will be plenty more work forthcoming.
