We have a crontab which contains many entries. The command that each entry runs is unique I am looking for a script which will accept two inputs existing command a flag 0/1 new command If I run this script with a command 1, then it should add a new entry to the crontab. This new entry will already have the schedule information and the script has to simply insert the new command text as a new line in the crontab If I run this script with a flag 0, then it should search the crontab file for existing command input and delete that entry Basically what we are trying to do is to automate the start/stop of cron jobs through a script without having to manually edit the crontab
