I am looking for one person to do rigorous online research to find:
(1) The types of fuels (gasoline, diesel, biofuels, electricity, for example) that are used for transportation in 62 different cities around the world and the relative use of each in the urban transportation sector. The relative fuel use will be broken down by vehicle (passenger vehicles, motorcycles, public buses, metro, suburban rail, and tram). Note, not all cities have each of these modes – this is indicated by an ‘x’ in the Excel spreadsheet.
(2) The current average price for these fuels in those cities.
(3) The average price for solar installation in that city in $/W installed (with and without subsidies).
Show any calculations. Convert answers into US$ and gallons. Cite all references used. Try to find the most recent references. If any reference is older than 2012, please cite it and any values derived from that source in italics. Ideally, I would like all these values at the city-level. However, sometimes city-level data is not available. If this is the case, try to find the most regional value (county, state, province, etc.). Bold the source and any associated values that were found at a resolution larger than the city level. Enter all data into the attached Excel spreadsheet.
In the link below I provide a detailed example of how one would do these tasks for the city of Chicago. Please review it before beginning the task. To be able to hire you, you must first demonstrate proficiency in completing these tasks for the city of Barcelona.
Let me know when you're done and I'll review the work to see if we can hire you for the task.
