We need someone who can build a directive that receive a list of zip codes and regions names and draw a google map which color code each region on the map. Keep in mind that each region can be between 1 and hundreds of zip codes. The result of the map should be something like this: http://www.mapsofworld.com/usa/states/new-jersey/newjersey-county-map.html The 2nd input to the directive would be a list of addresses where each address would need to be added to the map as a marker. Once you click on the marker you will show the exact address that was provided. In summary: Directive Input: - List of sub regions where each region has a list of assign zip codes - list of addresses Output: A GOOGLE map, broken by sub-regions, color coded, with markers for each address. ============= EDIT (8/29/2016): ============= After doing some research, the project is broken to two pieces, server side function to calculate a polygon from a list of zip codes, and an client side function that take a region name with his polygon coordinates and draw it with a color. So, the server side function (must be NodeJS) will receive a list of zip codes (US or Australia) and return a polygon which will cover all the listed zip-codes. I do believe that Google Maps API support this. The result of this function will be saved to the sub-region (you don't need to worry about that). The second part, you will receive a list of sub-regions with their polygon coordinated and a color and would need to draw the google map accordingly. ===== END EDIT ===== Few additional basic features the map should support: Controls: - Street view - Zooming - Each marker should be clickable with a callback that can be executed on the host controller. We will provide you with the sample set/data for you to test and evaluate the performance of your directive. Special bonus: If you can build and cache the directive with the input set so you don't need to recalculate / draw the sub regions every time its loaded

We are looking for an illustrator for appx 17 illustrations. The story is based on a unique little girl and we are looking for an illustrator that is able to provide a unique style that will make our book series stand out against the others. The story is about imagination and wonder. The main character will be a girl - about 8 years old. We are looking for a kind of unique style. Something new. She is a unique, creative child. She should look imperfect. Maybe a style of drawing with unique proportions? Like a smaller body or oblong head or something different. Something to make her style different from the look of characters in other books. She is a little odd maybe, but not ugly...still endearing and loveable. She is timid, shy, kind and artsy with a HUGE imagination. She doesnt talk a lot because she is often staring off at everyday things, very deep in thought, imagining a different world with incredible, whimsical ideas She should have exaggerated, long wavy hair. Her hair is important as it will take on an important part of the book. We like the idea of having sort of un-bordered hair. So the character will be outlined but the hair is a bit different in that it doesnt have an outline necessarily. (I can provide samples to show what I mean by this - where the whole image is outlined except the hair. The hair just has some random whispy lines over it to insinuate strands but doesnt outline the entire shape of the hair - if that makes any sense.) Open to other ideas to make the hair sort of a unique element to her character. We'd like to see saturated, vivid colors (but we also like more textured, hand drawn tones look with ink and watercolour as an option.) We are open to your interpretation. Her clothing style should be unique. Like how a sort of quirky artistic type would dress. Maybe mismatched, maybe bohemian style - you decide what you think works best. (Will provide samples for inspiration, they are named for the examples they are showing)

I need a mobile app developed. These are the functions it needs to have. I will provide about 250 short facts/quotes to start, but will need to be able to continually submit quotes to the app as needed for users. The users will download the app and edit their personal settings, (gender, age, etc) which will narrow down which facts/quotes the user will receive. Each day the new quote will appear on their screen as a notification. From there they can click on the notification to read the full quote/fact. That's all it need to do right now, but later on down the road I will want to add features, such as customized quiz results, in app purchases, possible advertising. I'd like it to be built in such a way that it will be easy to add on new features. Appearance - I want the app to have a very sharp, classy but simple, easy to use design Please submit images of previous app design work. I need this done as soon as possible, so please give me an estimate on when you think the work could be finished by. This could turn in to ongoing work.

We are looking to expand one of our internship programs and more widely use stipends. Stipends also called honourariums, or in some cases fellowships are non-wage payments to students to cover some of their expenses during their internships. On average these are about $200 per week, and cover transportation and meals. They are not connected to work hours or days, and there is no employer-employee relationship as defined by the Employment Standards or Labour Standards Acts in any province (as these internships are directly connected to, and a requirement of the student's course of post-secondary studies). This document from McGill, which references the Income Tax Act (IT-75R4) seems to say that Stipends are not treated as income and deductions do not need to be done at source: www.mcgill.ca/studentfunding/faa-admin-toolkit/factsheets/studentstipends We have these questions: Are Stipends employment income? Should deductions be done at source? How should companies report these payments? How should students report these payments? Which document does the host company need to provide for a student? (T4A?) We are looking for someone who can answer these questions, in a format that we can post to our website's support pages.
