There is an issue on our secure order form that occurs for people using certain mobile devices. Here's the secure order form:
Basically, people with certain mobile devices get an error that their email address is invalid. But the email address is fine, no matter what they try, they still get this error.
We ask what type of devices people with this issue use, and here's what they say:
"I am using Sony Mobile phone and browser is chrome."
"Chrome. .. On my Sprint phone."
We opened a ticket with our 3rd party provider and this is what they have said:
"I have heard back from our development team, the issue appears to be with the customization that has been done on the checkout.
If you shrink the width of your browser window you can see the portions getting cut off, and you don’t get the same effect on an account without the same custom CSS applied. Also the 100% width settings on your CSS elements and the mobile browser is limiting the width that can be used to display content to the actual width of the screen.
And because each mobile device will load and treat that differently, it is why you are only seeing it on one specific type of device, instead of all of them."
Obviously this page is hosted on a 3rd party. We have control of CSS and also some HTML towards the top of the page, and some footer HTML.
This issue has been outstanding for too long and we must get it taken care of.
Please let me know if you can help...
