First Step Coding is a new coding school in San Francisco that provides a 4-week introductory course on computer programming. We need help in two main areas: 1) Applicant Screening. We need someone with experience in academic admissions, recruiting, or sales to help us screen applicants (according to a set of questions we'll provide), represent the values of our program, and arrange appointments for 2nd round interviews where applicable. 2) Social Media Monitoring + Lead Generation. We need someone to help with monitoring our social media accounts and coordinating events. It's great if you have social media experience, but it's not strictly necessary for this role. We mainly need you to engage with our existing community, help answer questions, and help us keep our CRM up to date. If you can help us with both of these needs, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and at least have an interest in tech (no coding experience is required), then we'd love to work with you!

I am looking for a cartoon (along the lines of the sort attached) that explains a problem that retailers often face - "run outs". Retailers like Currys, PC World, Best Buy, Walmart, Asda are often faced with "customer" stealing expensive items by running out the emergency exit. They grab the stuff, push the emergency exit bar, the door opens and out they run, often to a waiting car. Sure the security alarm blasts and maybe red lights flash but that doesn't stop the thiefs and the security guards have little time to chase and capture. To combat this retailers look for what is technically termed "delayed egress" locking system. Simply put when the thief pushes on the panic bar to open the door, the alarms sound, the lights flash but the door doesn't open. it stays shut for around 10-15 seconds - long enough for security to come along and sort out the situation, but a short enough time that if there's a real emergency people can still get out safely. I want a cartoon that shows the two scenarios side by side as per the attached. The before (with a crappy door with cheap emergency panic bar with light above the door and alarm sounding when they open it and run through with a big TV). The after (same door, better looking locking system that bolts at the top and the bottom and the middle, with a panic bar across the door, and they press it but the door hasn't opened. the Alarm is going, the light above is flashing and they are stuck there with their TV and the security is right behind them).

We have a jabber chat server we are using for a video mobile phone app. Chats are restricted to logged in users, so it is not an open chat system. We are experiencing some performance and bottleneck issues with both volume and our archiving feature using an ejabber -> mysql plugin. Looking for someone who has experience setting up, troubleshooting, and load testing jabber servers to help either setup a new server for us or fix what is going wrong with our current. Remote work is fine.
