Currently I am using one of Zapier's ready-made zaps to create Asana tasks from starred Gmail. Everything works great, except for how it handles attachments. Attachments are successfully included with the newly created Asana tasks; however, an attachment named something like "TN450 Instruction.pdf" on original Gmail ends up attached to the newly created Asana task as something like:
This is very unwieldy not to mention ugly, so...
I want the Gmail attachments to retain their original file name on the Asana task. If there is more than one attachment, all should retain original file name and be listed vertically in the Asana task.
Deliverable for this job should be step-by-step instructions for modifying my current Gmail-to-Asana zap to handle attachments as described.
The base Zap I started with is 'Create Asana Tasks for Labeled Gmail emails'.
I also use Dropbox, so that too is an option for consideration if some sort of multi-step zap is necessary to achieve the desired result.
