Hey Upwork coders! I need to create a simple tool that utilises Google Safe browsing and Virustotal APIs: https://developers.google.com/safe-browsing/ https://www.virustotal.com/en/documentation/public-api/ As far as I know VirusTotal utilises Google’s API, so basically it should be enough to use that one, but the catch is that there is a request limitation, so I need you to find a smart way around it. I leave that part on your own creativity and experience. The script will have to be able to check about 50-100 URLs everyday for malware/blacklist. How it should work: 1. I submit a list of URLs in bulk through a form and all of the URLs will be added into database. 2. If there is a duplicate URL it won’t be added again. 3. The script will run every 24 hours or other custom set time and check all of the URLs in the database against malware/blacklist. 4. It will send out an e-mail (to specified e-mail address) every morning (or other customisable period) with health report for all of my URLs and mark specifically those that are affected by malware/blacklist and their name (Eset, Avira, Safe Browsing etc.) so I can immediately acct on it if there is an emergency. 5. I should be able to login and see a table with a list of all of my URLs and their current status for malware/blacklist. 6. I should be able to run a force-scan for specific URL or all URLs in my database. The overall tool should look easy on eye, so consider using some of the CSS frameworks such as Pure or Bootstrap. Please include in your application also the expected number of hours you will need to finish this project. Thank you!

Hi, We operate a website which does up to 500 pageviews per minute. We have had spikes in traffic recently, and every time the traffic increases we get an error which says 'error establishing a database connection'. We'd like to know how we can prevent this in future. Thanks.

IMPORTANT - Please read the full brief attached as a document to this job. Appland (www.applandinc.com) provides app stores to telecom operators in countries where Apple App Store and Google Play do not exist because consumers have no credit cards (i.e. half of the world). Appland has now created an App Store Games Club. Imagine Spotify or Netflix but instead you have mobile games for your Android phone. Users can for a monthly recurrent fixed fee play hundreds of top games unlimited. The first time a user starts the Game Club on their Android smartphone, we want to communicate the value proposition of the club itself. The value proposition will consist of 4 images that the user swipe through on the phone. _____________________ The target group World-wide gamers, but mainly 1. Geography: South East Asia, Middle East and Latin America. 2. Age: 25 – 45 years old 3. Gender: 60% men, 40% women 4. All social levels in the society. _____________________ Your mission We want you to create 4 images. For your creative process please keep the following feelings on top of mind • Premium high quality – The service is high quality and the games they can play are some of the best in the world. See example https://blog.applandinc.com/game-of-the-year-joins-app-store-subscription-club It is important that the images communicate high quality. • Trust – There is a lot of services in the market that delivers low value to end users. It is important that the images communicate that this service is high quality and that the user and a fun experience, is in the center. • Fun – Why do we play games? We want to be entertained, captivated, challenged and discover new things. It is important that the images communicate that this will be fun. Images storyline We want to have a “figure persona” (just like our competitor) that represent all the fun. It is our hero! Our here can be seen as a representation of the consumer of the club. A figure persona you trust and that shows the high quality we deliver. It is important that the image has a clean feeling and that the core message comes through in the image. The user should in 1 sec understand the message and the value proposition. Our hero is booth fun and cool. Our hero is emotionally like your best friend. Our hero is very likable by many people no matter age. We want you to design a hero and then implement in the 4 different images. We see that the hero is in the front and that the background (suggestion) should be a bright gradient colors similar to our competitor. Please note that the color of the first image’s right side is the same as the second image’s left side, resulting in a smooth user experience during swiping between images. _____________________ We are looking forward to get your suggestion. Best regards Daniel Nilsson Appland
