I need you to create both an animation and an illustration, for use in a zombie-themed indie computer game I am writing. If I like your work and you like doing the work, I will add additional milestones to this project for you to create the many remaining animations and illustrations that I need for the game, at an additional price that you and I agree on. VERY IMPORTANT: For this zombie-themed game, I am looking for dark, scary, somewhat desaturated, realistic, detailed, sophisticated artwork with a 3D-type appearance. I am NOT looking for a “cartoon” or “anime” style for this particular game. If you are an artist/animator who creates dark, scary, apocalypse-type digital art, you are exactly the kind of person I’m hoping to find. My timeframe is very tight for this project. If hired for this project, I need this first milestone done within 4 days. Then, if everything is going well and you and I want to proceed, I would need you to finish the remaining animations and illustrations for the game within 10 additional days. I need both the animation and the illustration to be created in a specific way in a specific size. For the details on the formats I need, plus details on the content of the specific animation and illustration I need for this project, please see the “Artwork – Milestone 1.pdf” document that is attached to this project. If this project works out for both of us and we continue the project to create the remaining artwork for the game, most of the remaining animations and illustrations I need will all be done with the same size and format specifications, so any expertise you gain in creating this first animation and illustration will be useful in creating the remaining animations and illustrations for the game. I look forward to finding the right animator/illustrator for this indie zombie-themed apocalyptic computer game.

I’m trying to refine a design to an existing prototype that I’ve created, which allows someone who is unable to move from the neck down to fully control a computer mouse and its buttons. To begin, a bit more about myself and why I’m interested in pursuing this: As a 33-year old male quadriplegic with no functional movement from the neck down, I’ve become quite patient and accustomed to the limitations that are part of my life. In the years that have passed, I’ve relied on voice recognition to navigate through my computer, but there are limits with what this can accommodate. To supplement voice recognition, there exists a system called Natural Point Smart Nav. This allows its users to control the mouse via head movement. By attaching a reflective piece of tape to a baseball hat, I am able to move the mouse in all directions. To activate the mouse click, there is a wire that plugs into the back of the Natural Point box and extends to the user, which then connects to a sip n puff actuator – a piece of tubing attaches to this and extends to the user, who can activate it by sipping or puffing. This is an effective method but it is by no means clean. I have come up with a way to do this wirelessly by using a wireless mouse that has been adapted to receive input from my Sip n Puff control box. The problem is that the straw that I am using is not very flexible and I would like to have a completed unit that is miniaturized, and sleek. I’m envisioning something similar to a Plantronics Headset with an over the head band and a straw that would extend to my mouth. The mouse would be eliminated altogether and instead there would be a small transmitter attached to the headband. Image 1: An overview of the major parts Image 2: A close-up of the mouse Image 3: Explanation of plugs Image 4: Overview of all parts Image 5: Close-up of mouse and Sip n Puff Image 6: The Natural Point Smart Nav. Image 7: The prototype that I’ve developed Image 8: I’m envisioning a setup like this with a very sleek and discrete tube that would extend to my mouth and connect to a transmitter. My first intent was to create something that would allow me to use my computer with greater efficiency. This is still my intent but I am also interested in exploring ways in which to bring this to the commercial market in an effort to support others who are also disabled. Please reach out to me if you think that you can help me with this vision and in this pursuit! Thank you, Ned Church
