We need a iOS and Android app for a conference center and tradeshow place. The collected data should go into a database system with a website to generate all kind of reports for the conference owners.
The initial features need are:
1) Event Registration
Register to the event within the app. The user will have to answer a few demographic questions and these should be stored in the server data base. We may need to integrate with a third party database who sells tickets online.
The registration creates a unique ID badge with a QR code. The user can apply this badge to register to all future events. It is a unique ID.
This registration must be validated via email.
2) Dynamic Content
We need one app for all events. So in the home page there should be a list of posters with current and future events. This functionality is very common in news paper apps or digital magazine apps such as Flipboard.
For each event, there should be general information about the event such as map and a exhibitor directory. There should be content sections such as interviews, new and noteworthy and sponsors. The content can have video clips (hosted in youtube or similar).
In the home page the user can also access past events and access all the information available for that event.
3) Calendar and Favorites
Option to add events to the user´s phone calendar and the app calendar.
The user can favorite any exhibitor or conference and will be placed in a favorites section..
The option to send notifications to all registered users who are attending the show to remind them about a presentation, opening event, etc. The user has the option to confirm attendance RSVP.
A poll can be triggered after a presentation to get feedback. The presentation can be downloaded after the user submits the poll. This works as an incentive to answer the poll. Poll triggers can be segmented based on the Digital Badge presence information.
6) Badge Exchange
We need another simple App to work as a QR reader for the exhibitors. The digital badge that can be used to check-in when entering the convention center, visiting a stand from an exhibitor or attending a presentation. This badge will provide presence information and can be used to send notifications or polls. There should be an admin website where you can see all the stats in real time.
Option to add banners for sponsors.
8) Social Media
The user can share any content through Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.
9) Data base and Admin
There should be an admin website to manage all aspects of this system and download reports such as metrics from the user´s actions. For example, favorites, user info, badge exchange, etc.
There should also be a content management system CMS to upload and manage all the content related to the event.
We need to have a few templates for creating events. This way once we set the template we can ask the show admin to upload all the content. For example, there should be a content template for a tradeshow, a conference or a concert. They all have different type of content.
11) Backend and Coding
The system should be able to integrate with other systems such as a CRM.
All code must be provided.
