We're looking for a writer who's passionate about creating educational, factual, straightforward material, providing real estate information to a layperson audience.
This is two-month project with daily deadlines.
You'll research and deliver facts, information, and instructional "how-to" guidance about real estate. Your writing must inform and educate in a clear, direct manner.
Your first assignments will deliver information. Just the facts, please. After a week or two, you'll step into assignments that show readers how to critically assess information. You'll help readers learn how to analyze options and make decisions.
We want writing that's clear, concise, detailed, logical, organized, and authoritative. We despise jargon, adverbs, run-on sentences, dependent clauses, and filler words.
Good news: We're not concerned with your education or work history. We care about your ability to write well and triple-check your facts. We don't need your resume or clips (yet). Impress us on the application, and the job is yours.
You'll be covering real estate. If you have any background covering this topic, that's a bonus, but not a requirement. Fact-checking and meeting deadlines, however, is critical.
We pay a flat rate based on assignment. Pay is negotiable. Let us know your desired compensation.
You may be offered additional work after the completion of this project. Please let us know on the application if you're interested in a potential long-term contract.
You must be able start immediately and meet daily deadlines. We'd like you to produce at least 1000 words per day, 4-5 days per week, for at least the next two months.
If you can't commit to that delivery schedule, but you think you're perfect for this role, please apply. We're flexible and willing to work with talented writers.
IMPORTANT: That form (at the link above) is the ONLY way to apply for this job. We do not consider any other type of applications (e.g. messages, emails, etc.)
