JOB DESCRIPTION The copywriter will check the content of our websites for errors and inconsistencies. You will not be translating, writing or creating any content yourself, but you will ensure that our content does not contain mistakes of any kind - spelling, grammar, ambiguity, style, consistency, etc. Most interactions will be through (Open) Office files filled with translations that we send to you, sometimes other formats are used as well (e.g. HTML). In other tasks you analyze our website one section at a time for changes, this will be a continuous project. Frankly we stole content as well when we started but I think that we've grown so much of the years it's time to change it up a bit. I'd like to keep the same "F*%K U" tone to the copy though. I know it's somewhat orthodox but I feel it really gets people in the company's personality train. It's only 3 pages long and I'd like to keep it that way. We are a new rural High Speed Internet company. When we started this venture our plan was to string coax on the utility poles that go past each house with about 5 linear miles for 165 homes. We had everything planned out for the coax build (We have permits for the poles and plans for what amps and taps go where). Our model has changed since we started, and we are now a WISP operating in the area as a short term step. We are now ready to start building out the cable system. Looking into it we see that fiber optics to the home may actually be the better way to go, for the benefit of reliability at not much more cost. We need to learn the cost difference between fiber VS coax. We would like a specific parts list to use in the entire system.
