Petovera is a business that was established in 2010 as
marketing agency. Since then, we have successfully
completed and launched over 350 web marketing
projects and campaigns for clients, see 14,000 visits to
our website (Petovera.com), and have also been
featured in major publications, like Forbes, Huffington
Post, Mashable, The Washington Post, and many others.
Petovera (a combination of the latin words meaning
“seek” or “strive for” and “truth) is a company that currently
specializes in helping small businesses and entrepreneurs
grow their sales and attract more customers.
In 2015, we revamped our business model to focus on
providing a brand new and more scalable and affordable
service to our target customer base.
We realized that the broader market couldn't afford to invest
thousands of dollars and wait months before launching a
new website / email marketing system that brought them
customers -- this represented too much time and too much
Today, we help our small business customers by providing
a turn-key service that gives business owners strategy and
help with implementation they need to be able to create an
effective online sales funnel.
A sales funnel is best defined as a series of steps that
lead potential customers towards a purchase decision:
from awareness, to engagement and relationship building,
to the actual purchase and then referrals and repeat orders.

ABOUT THE POSITION AND WHO WILL BEST FILL IT
We are looking to hire someone :
who loves editing
is excited about the idea of working with a team to produce the absolute BEST content on the web
obsesses over the little details
Ideally: has experience with Wordpress and with using content marketing to grow traffic
Some background in SEO is also a big plus
Fill out your daily checklist
Attend weekly team meetings with video and voice chat on Friday mornings
Review and edit both short and long articles daily for clarity of message, grammar mistakes, typos
Develop and suggest content ideas
Proactively tweak your workflow + checklist each week by documenting it on our company wiki
Nudging articles and topic ideas to move forward in the queue on Trello
Scheduling articles to be published on our Wordpress site
Checking to make sure each article is properly SEO'd
Collaborating with writers, communicating clearly, giving guidance if major revisions are needed
Schedule social media messages to promote newly published blog articles
Must be a native English (American) speaker
Must be available for Friday team calls at 10am EST
Must be diligent and consistent in your work quality
Good organizational skills
Have experience as an editor and/or content writer
Must have a positive attitude (only cool people allowed) and truly care about doing good work
It's a plus (and highly preferred) if you have experience with Wordpress, Google Docs, and/or SEO
Enjoys following our work process while working to continuously improve it.
$300 / month
Will increase with good performance
