I need to build a JavaScript module for that can be easily added to existing Chrome extensions without requiring extension modification. We want to be able to monitor the extension's behavior (for instance, as it deals with bookmarks, cookies, history, overrides, tabs, etc.) The module needs to collect telemetry and deliver it to a set of RESTful APIs. We're thinking of using AspectJS, and need somebody who can put it all together in a tiny, performant package that we can get our customers to build into their Chrome extensions. Focus has to be on high performance. We're already doing this kind of auto-interception and behavior monitoring for Windows executables, so we have the constraints of already knowing the RESTful APIs, and the need to make this non-invasive and simple for the Chrome extension developers to integrate into their builds. Perfect freelancer will have worked with AspectJS in the past... and has lots of experience in doing this kind of profiling/monitoring of existing extensions.
