We are looking for someone who has a strong grasp as to the ailments of modern economics and finance, and who wants to make a difference, to research and write relevant articles.
Our young Islamic non-profit organization offers interest-free loans across North America and is looking for:
*a marketing campaign manager/lead
This person (or team) would be responsible for research and writing and developing/executing marketing campaigns on the following:
*harm of debt; complete with references and suggested resources
*gravity of usury - a treatise on the history of usury, it's harms, etc.
*cash vs. credit cards (summarize the history of the credit card and its invasive-ness into public life, etc.)
-maybe an institutional variation of this focusing on credit cards for donations/gifts
*credit unions vs. banks (history, relative personal/societal benefits/harms of each)
- maybe an institutional variation of this focusing on why this is important for our institutions
*modern economics 101 - fiat currency
*gold & silver vs. cash
We want when people come to our site looking for interest-free loans, they can learn about fiscal management, debt, usury, and more.
We also want to release these campaigns to our mailing list - and some of them, we want to specifically target to mosques and religious and educational institutions across the country; for example, many faith-based organizations bank at major banks as opposed to credit unions; or they accept tremendous amounts of donations via credit cards - allowing their donor base (or their causes) to lose millions of dollars for the cost of convenience. We would like to come up with campaigns to shift the cultures of organizations in these areas.
