I am looking to get a flyer done in a pdf format that I can print in color and laminate to use in the office to educate our patients. I only needs to be one sided. I need certain text included and then any graphics that will help get the point across to the patient.
here is the dialogue I would like included in the flyer.
The first thing most new patients want is to feel better. So, in the beginning, visits are usually frequent. It's common to be recommended visits 3 x a week like you would expect working out at a gym for maximum benefit. Depending on your age, condition, and lifestyle, repeated visits over weeks or months may be needed to reduce your symptoms. Complete regeneration of tissue in the body can take up to 90 days to occur. This is similar to the time it takes to heal a broken bone or go through Army boot camp.
With your ache or pain reduced, the goal of rehabilitative care is for more complete healing to occur. Underlying muscle and soft tissue damage can remain, even after you feel better. Without complete healing, discontinuing care now can set the stage for a relapse.
A graph or chart would be great to show the different stages and phases of care. This could be shown by having red on one end demonstrating pain and green on the other end representing no pain and return to activities. Along the chart or graph you could show a progression of the phases as a patient heals. The four phases I would like to put on the chart are:
Passive Phase -
increase circulation, restore nerve innervations, decrease swelling, eliminate waste products, decrease pain. Followed home instructions and kept appointments = speed of healing!
Stretching Phase - Phase I
restore proper muscle alignment
restore proper tone of muscles
re-align soft tissue
Strengthening Phase - Phase II
restore motion patterns
return muscular integrity
increase stabilization of joints
Stabilization Phase - Phase III
full functional restoration
prevention of re-occurrence
(green light phase)
Here we stop the condition from coming back!
Return to normal life and do things you thought you would never be able to do before!
