We are creating a new version of our company website, and we'd like to create it using a static site generator. We have the designs (graphics), content ready; most of the graphics is also already coded into HTML/CSS.
Apart from a blog, the website will have a number of custom (semi-dynamic) elements, such as an RSS aggregator, conference timeline, team overview etc., which will have to be coded. Another important aspect is that we will need to migrate 100+ existing blogs (in .md) to the new infrastructure, with unchanged URLs.
We are looking for clean, maintainable code, which we'll be able to use for the coming years.
It would also be great to have a (can be locally-run) frontend for the static site, allowing to preview blogs instantly, add/resize images, define metadata etc.
