I have a Windows Server 2016 Technical Preview 5 in Azure that seems to time out after a certain period of time. You attempt to RDP in and you're unable to. It seems as if it went to sleep, which it didn't. The only way to regain access is to stop and restart the instance via the Azure Portal.

Our experienced Network Administrator and Lead Programmer has run into a problem he cannot fix. We Need someone skilled in both MS windows server 2012 R2 and MS windows server 2008 as well as Classic ASP, vbscript, html5, and xml. Problem: When executing the web page, the browsers are inserting their own meta tags for compatibility (all browsers)., which would be fine except there is an error in the meta tag of not having an ending tag, so the web page will not execute. Tests were done in all web browsers and the following error was received: error on line 19 at column 8: Opening and ending tag mismatch: meta line 0 and head the source code which has been automatically inserted is: <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=9; IE=7"> Note, there is no ending to the tag i.e. / at the end, so when executing it errors. We need someone that can identify where to edit those compatibility defaults or to not have them inserted into the page code at all. Once these errors have been cleared, we can also discuss lengthening the project.

Hi there, I have Dynamics CRM 2016 setup on my server, etc. I was adding two new users via the UI and CRM said I had too many licenses (workgroup), so I decided to delete or deactivated a user (i cannot remember if I deleted it or deactivated it) called "First Name Last Name" which was my original CRM user... I have another user called CRMAdmin which is what I normally use to log in with. I just assumed CRMAdmin user had the same rights as the other user I was deactivating. But I now suspect that other user might be CRMSvc... So now when I go to log in, the first time error message was "Access Error. The system could not log you on. This could be because your user record or the business unit you belong to has been deactivated in Microsoft CRM.". Now I get 404 error message. I suspect that user I deactivated was the key user that opens the database, and stupidly I have now messed up and not able to login to fix it. I've been looking for answers on the web and looking at SQL elements, but my technical skills are limited, and I just need someone who know what they are doing in Active Directory, SQL and CRM to fix this for me. Once fixed I would welcome some basic work looking at the current setup of CRM, with my server, SQL, ADFS etc to make sure it is all ok. I had a guy setup ADFS the other day and configure IFD, but I not sure if this is done still.. Mark

One of our developers has developed a aspx that is to connect to a MySQL database. We are unsure of the issue. We has a simple task. We have an existing database on a MySQL server. We want a aspx created so that it can connect to the database. So basically we just need confirmation that it the configuration is correct.

he current problem is on the www.greens.ie we use ajax to load the menu. Try to click on select or build. The site currently uses a admin-ajax.php file and our server admin will not change it to reading permission. It just works for whitelisted IPs currently. It is a windows server and the admin is very strict so no solutions based on changing permissions or editing things on the server are an option. What i need you to do is to use an alternate non admin ajax php.
Also, I can’t share the credentials. So you would need to log on team viewer to solve the problem

We are looking for a junior / senior developer for a 7-10 day project (or quicker if you manage). This is pretty much a one man job but you will of course have access to our core developers for questions and QA. You must have some experience working with APIs and distributed solutions like server / agent or similar. Description of the project: AIMS Innovation delivers a platform with a strong focus on integration monitoring, analytics & insight. AIMS uses machine learning to automatically monitor & analyse applications, solutions and transactions from a 5 minute out-of-the-box install & monitoring setup. Our core platform is hosted in the cloud and clients install agents for the monitoring. These agents communicate with our backend using HTTPS. For this project we want to develop a very basic multi-purpose monitoring agent. You can find info about our agent API / SDK here: https://github.com/aimsinnovation Based on the sdk / api we want to build an agent that feed some basic server info to the AIMS backend. The agent needs to be running as a service, and the agent must come with an installer (wix or similar). Agent should be written in C# or similar. Agent 1 - during install the user selects a disk path to be monitored for number of files every minute, for instance c:\test. Once running the agent will then send number of files on the disk path every minute to the AIMS backend If the project is executed well we have a lot more agents that need to be developed.
