Hi there, I have Dynamics CRM 2016 setup on my server, etc. I was adding two new users via the UI and CRM said I had too many licenses (workgroup), so I decided to delete or deactivated a user (i cannot remember if I deleted it or deactivated it) called "First Name Last Name" which was my original CRM user...
I have another user called CRMAdmin which is what I normally use to log in with. I just assumed CRMAdmin user had the same rights as the other user I was deactivating.
But I now suspect that other user might be CRMSvc... So now when I go to log in, the first time error message was "Access Error. The system could not log you on. This could be because your user record or the business unit you belong to has been deactivated in Microsoft CRM.".
Now I get 404 error message.
I suspect that user I deactivated was the key user that opens the database, and stupidly I have now messed up and not able to login to fix it.
I've been looking for answers on the web and looking at SQL elements, but my technical skills are limited, and I just need someone who know what they are doing in Active Directory, SQL and CRM to fix this for me.
Once fixed I would welcome some basic work looking at the current setup of CRM, with my server, SQL, ADFS etc to make sure it is all ok. I had a guy setup ADFS the other day and configure IFD, but I not sure if this is done still..
