I currently run a docker image to observe a real estate website but this website blocks the ip of my server , so I need to use a VPN.
to not block a whole dedicated server with a vpn access for only this small task, I decided to use a ec2 instance for this task. I have a jenkins task that instanciate a ec2 instance , run the docker image , stop the instance.
milestone 1 (50$)
Create a script + modify a bit the jenkins task so at each run, after the ec2 instanciation, we execute the script to start a vpn network access with hidemyass so we can then run the docker image scraping the website. ( of course you have to check if the docker image scrap well the website or other potential side effect)
milestone 2 (50$)
2. sometime during the scraping , we can detect that the ip has been burnt , in this case the dockerized app should be able to execute a script to close and restart a vpn with another ip. maybe you can use the same script maybe it's a bit more tricky..
you have some tutorial about ec2 + hidemyass
I expect to get candidate who have experienced similar pb and solving it in 3h max
3 Questions to answer for the application:
1.Have you already setup a hidemyass connexion on ec2 before?
2. is there any extra - difficulty with dockerized app ?
3. what is your estimate to complete thet ask ?
