Looking for experienced developer
As Chief Technology officer your primary role is to ensure the successful execution of the company’s business mission by developing and fostering the company’s web presence. This entails envisioning the company’s service offerings as a web-based business, leading implementation of web applications, and planning for risk and growth.
Work with CEO to concoct and brand the company’s key technology offerings.
Work with VP of Engineering to implement key technology offerings from a technical standpoint.
Work with other departments to ensure technical solution works seamlessly with other lines of business.
Ensure technology offerings are cutting-edge, robust and scalable.
Oversee IT budget and ensures that key KPIs of the technology group are attained.
Recruit, foster and maintain a productive development team to develop technical offerings.
Evaluate new technologies to improve the company’s product offerings.
Constantly evaluates technical efficiency and makes changes as necessary
Makes presentations to board of directors and chief executive officer
University degree in the field of computer science, business administration, or another rigorous discipline. Advanced degree in one these fields is a plus.
Knowledge & Experience
Demonstrated track record to envision web-based solution that meets consumer needs or solve business problems.
5-7 years experience managing web application development.
2-3 years experience with startup companies.
Hands-on experience coding in more than one currently popular web application framework.
Familiarity with numerous software development methodology.
Ability to discern user requirements and develop specifications.
Skill with CSS, XHTML, Angular, etc.
Familiarity with technical requirements of Internet marketing and search engine optimization.
Familiarity with information security vulnerabilities and risk management.
Familiarity with consumer privacy and payments industry compliance requirements.
Exposure to business theory, business process development, governance processes, management, budgeting, and administrative operations.
Proven leadership ability.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
