We engaged a wordpress designer to put together a new site for our organization. The end product was acceptable, but did not really capture everything we had hoped for when starting on the project.
What we need from you:
- VERY strong design skills. We are looking for something with the design sensibilities and UX approach of this site: http://www.respublica.org.uk
- Ability to adapt our current beta site to your new design ideas: http://laweconcenter.org/beta/
- Ability to work in the code, if necessary, for instance to extent content types, enhance our search capabilities etc. If you aren't able to do this, but have an affordable programming resource you can paid with, this is also acceptable.
- A plus would be experience working on projects for a nonprofit, government, university, or related site. We are not e-commerce -- we need a web site that works well for academic and nonprofit users.
In order to successfully bid we need to see examples of your work. Please prioritize samples that show your ability to handle lots of content -- preferable academic, technical, or related content. Commerce-oriented samples are much less useful for us to see.
