We have a EC2 instance (running windows server) and 2 RDS instances (running SQL Server) that are not currently in a VPC, and we would like to migrate them into one without breaking external connections and minimizing downtime. In addition, we would like to add an OpenVPN server that supports MFA (multi-factor authentication) to allow us to access the otherwise externally inaccessible RDS instances. We have a few complications to the scenario that we know about, and there are possibly others that we will discover as we proceed. Primarily, we have a pair of Elastic external IPs on our EC2 instance that need to move with the machine to the VPC, and we need to mitigate downtime so that we do not upset our existing customers. Secondarily, we hope this will prepare us to eventually move to a multi-AZ redundant system down the line. You will be required to sign an NDA and work first to build/document a proof of concept, then assist in the actual migration.

Hello! I'm looking for someone who will solve my various present technical problems and queries (4 - 8 hours work?) and indeed support me in the future (time necessary here will surely vary) as and when problems arise, as I am not exactly Miss Technical! The job is not JUST technical however, but also requires a kind and patient 'assistant'-like approach please, and the willingness to advise when, for example, many technical options of how to do something are up for grabs and the best possible option has to be decided upon ;-) As the technical language is difficult enough for me, I would like you to be able to speak perfect - so native please! - English (or German - I'm bilingual) so that this may not hinder our work cooperation in any way. Looking forward to working together with you! Annette

Hi, We need based on app code source found : https://github.com/schwabe/ics-openvpn 1. A rebranded app with our logo, and powered by our company also. 2. we offer keys authentification, they can already import in the default app get connected and browse, all servers list IP are in there already, but with no indication of country and choices features in app. Problem, we need client to be able to choose to which IP to connect (IP = precise country) from app, instead of random or not according to settings chosent by client in such default app. Application must only work with yoorshop servers, even if it will be in 'google store' ************* Sysadmin said : He can parse URL data of servers list from our server which includes names, and is used by our windows app succesfully already ************* Also : http://ics-openvpn.blinkt.de/FAQ.html We don't want any data access from the client like his sdcard, etc... nothing else than what is needed for the app to work. We will give you access to our dev android account.

We also have many remote users with laptops and home desktops...but problem we are having is that while they are joined to the domain, they don't get updated policies and stuff when I create new group policies, or when their AD passwords expire (required to change every 90 days) in the office and they change it, it doesn't sync to their home desktops or laptops (note they do not really use VPN today). We DO however have AnyConnect setup on our Cisco ASA's and RSA dual factor authentication So this is what we need but I am not sure if this is possible.....so let me know if it is or if you have better ideas 1) I want to implement Azure AD in the cloud and sync our domain controller at our US and international offices to it....is this possible? ... 2) I would like to be able to setup some sort of VPN, not sure which one or how (reminder we have Cisco ASA but Azure is fine too), where when a user turns on their home desktop or laptop, they have to just enter their windows authentication and the dual factor passcode (prefer Azure 2FA but I guess our RSA one is fine too).....is this possible?
