The Remote German Technical Support Associate will work side by side with the company’s German Country Manager. You will be required to translate and adapt a product or content to the German locale and market. Translation is only one of several elements of the process. In addition to translation, it may also include:
Adapting graphics to target markets
Modifying content to suit the tastes and consumption habits of other markets
Adapting design and layout to properly display translated text
Converting to local requirements (such as currencies and units of measure)
Using proper local formats for dates, addresses, and phone numbers
Addressing local regulations and legal requirements
Outstanding written and verbal/written communications skills in German and English
You are a native German or have superior knowledge of German culture
Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Openness to work flexible hours if required, including weekends and holidays
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, innovative environment demonstrating high energy, a sense of urgency, and decisiveness
Polite, thoughtful and friendly attitude
Team player with an ability to operate at all levels in a matrixed organization
Attentiveness and empathy for customers
A curiosity about how things work, and a thirst to learn new things
Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
Prior customer service & support experience a plus
