The Senior Pre-Sales Consultant will work with the Marketing Sales team to support sales engagements and provide technical solution expertise.
- Interact with prospects to identify business requirements, determining primary areas of need, documenting findings and translating those requirements into a coordinated demonstration of the appropriate solution (IBM Cognos, SPSS, TM1).
- Provide expertise around IBM Business Analytics & Optimization solutions.
- Prepare and concur proof of concepts and pilots including coordinating all aspects of set-up and training, if needed.
- Assist in the creation of RFP and RFI responses to support channel sales.
- Expertly handle prospects questions on software functional/technical capabilities during meetings/ presentations, and if needed adapt presentation / demo to prospect's line of questioning.
- At least 4+ years as a pre-sales consultant/ engineer presenting solutions to C-level managers
