The IT Help Desk Specialist under supervision and guidance of System Engineer, will provide technology support to end users throughout the organization within the healthcare organization. First point of contact where you will troubleshoot information technology issues, including software, hardware and entry level networking issues. Installs and updates desktops, laptops, PDAs, phones, peripherals and related software.
Associate’s degree in computer technology field or comparable certification.
Provides high level of customer service, including courtesy, communication, documentation and follow-up.
Knowledge of PC support and working in a help desk environment. Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Office Suite.
Basic knowledge of network servers.
Ability to recognize problems, assess critically and develop solutions.
