From our initial research using Companies House data, we have found that there are approximately 8200 companies in the UK with a revenue/turnover ranging from £500k to £10m. For our work, we define "IT Services" as companies that provide any or all of the following services: Managed Support Provider (MSP), IT Consultancy, IT Projects, Software development and/or design, IT break fix support, outsourced IT, IT resellers of software or hardware. * Firstly, is this number of 8200 companies still accurate? * Secondly, what was the size of the UK IT Services market 3 years ago, and in particular, what was the number of the companies within this turnover range? (Has the number of these companies gone up or down?) * Thirdly, what is the revenue/turn over of these companies? (Eg, 8200 companies in a range of 500k to 10m is either £4.1 billion per year through to £82 billion - that's a big spread so narrowing it down is needed.) To complete this job, you'll need to answer the above three questions and provide solid data, or references to credible sources that can prove this to suspicious bankers, investors, etc (these are the people we are talking to, so the data needs to convince them.)
