Coaching with Substance (CWS) requires a Business Development Manager with an innovative and driven mindset to join our leadership team.
During the last decade there has been a significant increase in the number of people developing addiction issues with teen uptake at an all time high.
As surrenderees in the Philippines rise, Coaching with Substance wishes to rise to the occassion and as pioneers of collaborative peer recovery coaching (CPRC) would like to enhance and transform the lives of those falling prey to the addiction pandemic.
Last year this fantastic organisation supplied holistic coaching services to 135 individuals helping them get their lives back on track. Within these clients lives - suicide, rape, violence, attempted killings, domestic disputes, multiple addiction issues and behavioural addiction/abuse are rampant.
As these grave dangers continue to plague our community (Philippines and Australia), we need a harm reduction initiative now.
Therefore, the Business Develoopment Manager will enable CWS to help more people, CWS seeks to strengthen their brand awareness, support their operations and further develop their innovative and highly successful education and well-being programs.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the key responsibilities of the Business Development Manager position are inclusive of the following:
Leading and developing the fundraising initiatives of the organisation
Coordinating the activities of the one direct report who are responsible for email marketing, database communications and events with the vision of hiring more for the incumbent to manage
Developing strategies and resources to successfully execute major gifts and capital fundraising campaigns
Promoting engagement opportunities to attract and retain new and existing partners
Researching and developing creative initiatives to identify untapped fundraising opportunities in the QLD market
Representing Coaching with Substance at events in the Filipino and wider community as instructed
You will be degree educated and have proven success in an equivalent business development role ideally with exposure to leading and coordinating fundraising activities.
Ideally you will be familiar utilising social media and online Customer Relations Management platforms. Utilising your business and charity networks you will have the skills, and experience, to achieve the financial objectives of the role. An established track record of leading a fundraising team or a marketing and communications team is also required.
