There have been a number of design and URL changes made to the website: https://www.orderin.com.au since its creation around 2001.
Not all of the URLs were 301 redirected to new destinations when the content was removed or when the site went through a new design and build.
An old home page URL: http://www.orderin.com.au/default.asp is a 404 page not found error.
We need you to use the way back machine: https://web.archive.org/web/*/orderin.com.au
... and make a list of all the old URLs in an Excel spreadsheet.
- Go to 2001 and the first version of the website (https://web.archive.org/web/20010205021400/http://orderin.com.au/) and make a list of all the URLs of the website that you can gather.
- choose 1-2 versions out of each of the years and check all the URLs of these versions and add any new URLs to the list in Excel
Sometimes you will have to hover over the link on the page, right click and copy link which will give you the below:
Then you need to strip it down to just the URL that we need:
You will need to manually click through each version of the website (choose 1 - 2 versions per year) and record the links.
Hope this makes sense and in your proposal please repeat back to me what you are going to do to to complete this task.
Please also check in with progress every 3 hours.
We need this by Wednesday 27th Jan 2016.
