We have launched an innovative line of products that cater to specific demographic segments of the market. Our products are sold online at some of the largest retailers in the world. But, we need to build brand awareness and highlight distinctly unique features of our product that distinguish our products from the competition. Of course, the bottom line outcome we are looking for is more traffic and more sales. So, the person we are looking for should have proven expertise in this area.
We are looking for somebody who understands different aspects of social media and how to effectively leverage the power of social media to maximize reach to focused consumer segments.
Here is a broad outline of the work that needs to be done:
- Develop a social media strategy specific to each channel - FB, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Youtube...
- Define a plan for each product and each demographic segment
- Identify existing articles/posts/blogs that relate to each of our products and leverage that to promote our product - we have some examples
- Develop campaigns that will help build the buzz
The resource could work part-time, flexible hours as long as he/she is willing to get on a call every so often to brainstorm and provide updates
