Our marketing attracts people interested in 1-1 demo's of a product used to engage their prospects and customers. You ask about their goals, demo the product to them, and also suggest use cases they may not have thought of, but typically interesting to their industry.
These conversations are quite strategic - there's a lot of flexibility in how they use the platform, and we'd love someone who can think about the business interests of our users, who are in a variety of roles and thus have very different goals, from course revenue (authors/trainers), political activations (non-profit advocacy), training effectiveness (corporate trainers).
These are warm leads who set appointments, not cold calling.
You'll get some impressive customers. Users on our platform in the past 90 days include President Obama & Hilary Clinton (through political campaigns), Oprah, Airbnb, Uber, and Stanford University.
Excellent written and spoken english required, although light accent is fine.
We seek long-term relationships with customers and are seeking someone who is exceptionally honest and authentic as well as someone who can help people come to the right decision whether our platform is right for them.
If you're inclined to it, we're open to also setting up business development partnerships - e.g. reaching out to biz dev contacts and major potential partners to set up mutually beneficial deals. It could also involve sponsorship sales to marketers and agencies, for special events we produce.
Strong B2B sales experience required, ideally software to mid-level buyers. We prefer MBA, strategic consulting, or equivalent. Hubspot and/or infusionsoft experience also desired.
We've posted as full-time but are open to part-time as well (we want the strongest candidate). Hours should be within US business hours - from 9a Eastern to 8p Eastern (5p Pacific). Are open to US or non-US people for this role.
