I'm looking for an experienced and professional sales and cold calling contractor to make direct email and phone contacts for approximately 20-30 hours per week, during regular business hours (8:30 to 4:30 Eastern Time).
My organization has been in business for eight years, delivering project management training, including standard project management, agile project management, and certification training (PMP, PMI-ACP). The sales contractor I hire is responsible for expanding my client base within 100 miles of the Detroit, Michigan (USA) area where I operate the business. This area has hundreds of firms who routinely run projects and send their project managers to training. The contractor should be able to provide a FULL sales solution, including a source of leads, an electronic system of tracking leads, reliable phone service capable of making unlimited calls in the U.S., an email service capable of sending mass emails, etc.
This role requires someone to make direct contact phone contacts with clients. This contract will NOT involve passive Internet marketing (e.g., pay-per-click), as these techniques are typically very expensive and they yield virtually no worthwhile leads.
I will provide all relevant training and support to the contractor (e.g., describing the services my firm offers, helping craft sales scripts) to help maximize the contractor's success. The position pays hourly or commission, whichever is greater. If the contractor demonstrates the ability to generate viable leads, this should become a long term contract.
The contractor must speak English as a native language and make calls during regular business hours (8:30 to 4:30 Eastern Time). For these reasons, U.S. and Canadian candidates are preferred, though other native English-speaking candidates will be considered. I will interview candidates via Skype to assess language abilities.
